::Love You Like A Love Song::

Last sunday, Jordan and I got the oppertunity to work with a friend of ours Sabrina (check out her blog!) to have photos done for us. You see Jordan is going away to Thunder Bay for school, so we wanted to get these done for rememberance and stuff like that, not to mention its fun to get all dressed up and have photos done! So I wanted to share with you the photos she took! There amazing!!! And Thanks again girl! We love ya!!!!

:: Conflict Resolution::

We are all unique, we were all born the way God wanted us to be.

There are two types of conflict.....
1. Conflict in your relationships
2. Conflict in your beliefs.

-Drama is unresolved conflict
-emotional,verbal and physical violence
-when you defend your beliefs you become more sure of them
-Proverbs 15:1
-Galatians 2:11-14
-do not attack people, attack ideas
-if the person gets into a ramble, it is OK for you to ask them to stop
-another way to get a conversation going is the word "sure"
-acknowledge someones thought to tell them you know where there coming from
-intolerance will not be tolerated, tolerance is allowing something that opposes you to tolerate something
-a way to give off a complete shut down during a time of need is answering with the word "whatever"
-don't write out everyone with apathy
-just love people, if we can be secure in our own beliefs
-we need to resolve conflict to restore our relationships
-we can confront someone without a personal attack towards them
-stand up for your belief's and love people!
-2 Cor 6:1-2.....vanity is meaningless and useless
-procrastination is the work of the devil

::Reflecting Christ Together::

Reflecting Christ Toether
Acts 2:42-47

Why the early church was effective as the body of Christ.

1. STEADFAST in the word.
-all the people were convicted
-God spoke through the apostals

2. SELFLESS in their love for one another.
-give to anyone who had need.
-love for God/one another to work togther

3.SINCERE in their faith
-there were not a fortress that met every week, they were a force that went out into the community.

*Are we satisfied with the role God gave us?
*Are we playing the role God gave us?

God is going to pruin us and were going to produce fruit or God is going to cut us off.

*John 15:1-2

God is calling us to do something in the body...that is what God longs for.

:: Pretense of Passion? ::

Are we passionate or are we pretending? - Revelation 3:14 - 22

"These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, "I am rich; I have acquires wealth and do not need a thing. But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rice; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So ne earmest, and repent. Here I am! i stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, i will come in and eat with him, and he with me. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. he who had an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

Do I want to be where Jesus is? If he was alive where would he be and where would he go?
"As long as I show up and suit up it doesn't matter how I play the game." Would you if you were a maple leafs goalie? A heart surgeon? A christian?

"Taking the words of Christ literally and seriously are rarely considered. That's for the radicals who are unbalanced and who go overboard. Most of us want a balanced life that we can control that is safe and that does involve suffering. As I see it a lukewarm christian is an oxymoron...they are not seen in heaven." - Francis Chan, Crazy Love, pg.68

:: Someone Worth Dying For ::

You might be the wife, waiting up at night
You might be the man, struggling to provide
Feeling like it's hopeless
Maybe you're the son, who chose a broken road
Maybe you're the girl, thinking you'll end up alone
Praying God can you hear me?
Oh God are you listening?

Am I more than flesh and bone?
Am I really something beautiful?
Yeah I wanna believe, I wanna believe that
I'm not just some wandering soul
That you don't see and you don't know
Yeah I wanna believe, Jesus help me believe that I
Am someone worth dying for

I know you’ve heard the truth that God has set you free
But you think you're the one that grace could never reach
So you just keep asking, oh what everybody's asking

Am I more than flesh and bone?
Am I really something beautiful?
Yeah I wanna believe, I wanna believe that

I'm not just some wandering soul
That you don't see and you don't know
Yeah I wanna believe, Jesus help me believe that I
Am someone worth dying for

You're worth it, you can’t earn it
yeah the cross has proven
That you're sacred and blameless
Your life has purpose

You are more than flesh and bone
Can't you see you're something beautiful
Yeah you gotta believe, you gotta believe
He wants you to see, He wants you to see
That you're not just some wandering soul
That can't be seen and can't be known
Yeah you gotta believe, you gotta believe that you
Are someone worth dying for

You're someone worth dying for
You're someone worth dying for

~ Lead me to the cross ~

The power of Jesus name is still great to this day. What is it that holds us back. Can we really trust God with everything? Let go of everything and give everything to God. Why should I trust God fully? Why should I lay everything down at his feet? We should lean on him because Jesus offers ( 2. Cor 12) God deserves all the glory. What is it in your life that is an open door? What does he promise to us?  If we have success before us, we already have an open door in front of us. If you cling to me, you will experience community like never before. Go make disciples of all nations. And don't forget that he is with us. Success does not mean getting whatever you want. It means trusting in him and what he will do for us. Hebrews 13:5-6 says " Keep your lives free from money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"" Do you trust him? Are you will to step through?

1. Jesus has a message for the faithful. - Rev. 3:7
- the HOLY one
- the TRUE one
- who HOLDS the key of David.
who OPEN/SHUTS and no one can shut/open.

2. Lean In! v.8-11
- in our WEAKNESS, Jesus promises SUCCESS v.8
- in our ALIENATION, Jesus promises SECURITY (1 Peter 1:7-8)

3. Hold On! v. 11-13
- KEEP my word! v.8
- BEAR my name! v.8
- ANTICIPATE my blessing! v.12
