::What Kind of Friendship Are You In?::

As teen girls, we have many friends. Some of our friendships are true friendships, while others are tools of Satan. We need to recognize which ones are which. Our true friends will be there no matter what. They will encourage us, but also tell us when we are in sin. Friendships that are tools of Satan will encourage us to sin, beat us down, and only be there for us when it's convenient for them. We are close to some friends, while other friends we aren't so close with, but the bottom line is that we should be nice to everyone. We should talk to all of our friends about God, and hopefully help them overcome and defeat Satan if we need to. We should never be rude or disrespectful to our classmates, even if they aren't our friends, because if they are Christians we should know that they are our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Reflection:

Do you respect people who aren't so close to you, or do you ignore them? Could you be a defeater of Satan through your friends?

Application Step:

Today take some time and socialize with some of your classmates that you aren't so close with, maybe even sit next to them at lunch. Be sure to talk about Christ, and share your faith with them.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, Please help me defeat Satan through my friends. Help me focus on you, and which of my friends have you living inside of them. Help me to be close to all my friends, and be a true friend for them. Help me to lift them up, use me to draw them closer to you, and please don't let me be a tool of Satan. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
